Wellness Therapy

Your Wellness Is Important to Us

In addition to our nutritional and behavioral services, we offer a variety of health services for your complete wellbeing including massage therapy, acupuncture, speech therapy and occupational and physical therapy.

  • Massage Therapy

Massage is one of the oldest natural remedies—a simple way to soothe muscular tension, relieve stress, and promote your overall well-being. Regular massage therapy provides the following benefits:

    • Pain Relief

    • Stress Relief

    • Muscle Recovery

    • Joint Movement

    • Sleep Promotion

    • Circulation Improvement

  • Acupuncture

With a long tradition in Chinese medicine, acupuncture is often used to treat pain. Our acupuncture services stimulate muscles and nerves, encouraging your body’s natural painkillers. Acupuncture can help with the following conditions:

    • Headaches

    • Dental Pain

    • Back and Neck Pain

    • Fibromyalgia

    • Menstrual Cramps

    • Osteoarthritis

  • Speech Therapy

We help adults improve their speech and swallowing capacities. Whether you are dealing with apraxia, dysphagia, dysarthria, stuttering, aphasia or another speech or swallowing disorder, our therapists address and treat your condition in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

  • Occupational and Physical Therapy

We treat a range of physical impairments to improve range of motion, decrease pain and increase facility with daily tasks. Through exercise, education and support, our occupational and physical therapists accelerate the healing process and put you on the path of physical independence.

  • Walk With Ease Program

Walk with Ease is an evidence-based program developed by the Arthritis Foundation proven to help people with arthritis or other related conditions reduce pain, increase balance, strength and walking pace, and improve overall health. Program goals include:

    • To understand the relationship between arthritis, exercise and pain.

    • To develop and implement a personal walking plan with realistic goals.

    • To gather tips, strategies, and resources for maintaining a long-term exercise routine.

The walking group meets 3x/week for 6 weeks, and we will be leading groups at independent and assisted living facilities in 2018 and 2019.
